Q1 2021 Performance of Top Dining Apps on iOS in Brazil

In the first quarter of 2021, the dining and restaurant app category on iOS in Brazil saw varied performance among its top players. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides insights into the downloads and active user trends for these apps.

McDonald's Offers and Delivery experienced a fluctuating download trend, peaking at nearly 40K in early February and then gradually decreasing to under 20K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users saw a high of over 260K in the first week of February, followed by a general downward trend, ending the quarter with just over 200K active users.

Burger King Brasil showed a declining download trend throughout the quarter, starting at around 16K and dipping to nearly 9K in late March. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at approximately 122K and decreasing to just over 100K active users by the quarter's end.

Habib's saw its downloads peak at nearly 14K in late February, with significant weekly fluctuations. The weekly active users for Habib's rose to nearly 39K in late March, marking a notable increase from around 28K at the beginning of the year.

Domino's Pizza Brasil had a relatively steady download count, ranging from over 1K to nearly 1.5K during the quarter. The active users remained fairly stable, with a slight increase to just over 5K in early March.

Starbucks Brasil, with the lowest download numbers among the top 5, fluctuated between 498 and 701 downloads throughout the quarter. The weekly active users stayed within the range of 4.7K to 5K, showing a consistent user base.
